As soon as you want to seal a toilet visit in a bag, you need to remove the liquid insert from the Clesana toilet.

How is the liquid insert cleaned?
After each emptying, clean the liquid insert thoroughly with water or, alternatively, with a mild cleaning agent to prevent urine scale and unpleasant odours. Be sure to clean all the container’s corners and edges to remove residues. Let the liquid insert dry completely before putting it back into your Clesana.
For the best possible hygiene and longevity of the liquid insert, we recommend cleaning it regularly. Use a mild cleaning agent and a soft brush or sponge. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents or abrasives. After cleaning, rinse the liquid insert thoroughly and let it dry completely before reinserting it.
