Clesana high-barrier film liner.
Highest barrier performance for medical requirements.
Our high-barrier film sets the standard for protection and hygiene: thanks to its complex, multi-layer structure, it is the only one to offer a reliable high barrier – even against odours, liquids, viruses and bacteria. Certified to ISO standards, it is specially approved for use in medical settings and thus guarantees maximum safety. The sealed bags can be disposed of easily with residual waste – entirely without water or chemicals.
Maximum safety, no compromises.
Excretions and toilet waste are sealed in high-barrier film liners to medical hygiene standards. The film’s barrier function allows the bags to be stored absolutely hygienically and odour-proof for several days to weeks. A fresh barrier liner allows an average of 40 toilet uses (Clesana C1) or 50 toilet uses (Clesana X1).

Getting started (commissioning)
Before using the Clesana C1 (and equivalently the Clesana X1) for the first time, all you need to do is insert the high-barrier film liner. This takes just 4 simple steps.
1
Remove the lid, take out the film cassette and place it upside down (oval side down) on a table.
2
Pull the film liner over the cassette and align it. Turn the cassette back over, pull the film tube upwards and fold it inwards over the edge so that it protrudes downwards.
3
Reinsert the loaded film cassette.
4
Put the lid on and perform a reset. The film tube is then automatically sealed into a bag and the counter is reset. The toilet is now ready for use.
Insert the barrier liner and off you go! It’s that easy!
Our classic for the C1: now also available in a Bio version!Developing this film was a demanding process. Because even with a sustainable material base, we apply the highest requirements for barrier properties against odours and moisture. We can say with certainty that we have succeeded in fully meeting these requirements. With this product, we make an important contribution to a more sustainable future – with no compromise on performance and safety.

-
Made predominantly from biomass.
-
With a tested high barrier against odours and moisture.
-
Certified to the DIN standard.
For us, quality, functionality and transparency regarding environmental compatibility come first. That is why we don’t just call our high-barrier liner “bio” – we have also had it officially DIN-certified as “bio”.
