This is how the Clesana X1 works.
All waste is sealed into bags fully automatically and in line with medical hygiene standards, and collected in a space-saving way. The bags are disposed of with residual waste. The Clesana X1 needs neither sanitary additives nor water and, thanks to high-barrier film, is absolutely odour-proof and hygienic. This is ensured by a special thermo-pressure process and a patented sealing mechanism.

Using a Clesana sealing toilet is so simple that you will hardly notice any difference from the fixed toilet in your home … except, perhaps, that you don’t even need water to feel completely hygienically safe.
Disposing of toilet waste is completely unproblematic with Clesana, too. Whether toilet paper, feminine hygiene products or nappies – the film-bag system seals everything hermetically at the push of a button. The bags are disposed of with residual waste.

Clesana X1 accessories
Excretions and toilet waste are hygienically sealed in high-barrier film in a Clesana X1. A fresh Clesana X1 high-barrier liner allows up to 60 uses, while the “PTFE band” (Teflon) used for sealing has a service life of approx. 2,000 cycles. For “number one”, the Clesana super absorber can optionally be used to absorb liquid, or the Clesana liquid insert.
