Clesana Power-Management.

For maximum self-sufficiency.

 

The Clesana Power-Management is a combination of a relay and a DC/DC charger. When used with a backup battery, the Clesana Power-Management enables a simplified electrical installation of the sealing toilet Clesana C1. 

Thanks to the external backup battery, the Clesana C1 receives power independently of the vehicle’s onboard power system, allowing for maximum self-sufficiency. Even if the onboard power fails, the toilet can still be operated. Another advantage is that if the vehicle is not used for an extended period, the Clesana C1 can be completely disconnected from the power supply by simply flipping a switch, preventing it from running in standby mode.

  • Operating Voltage Range: 10.5 – 14.8V

  • Standby Current Consumption: <5 mA

  • max. Current Consumption: 22 A

The Clesana Power Management with cable offers the option to charge the backup battery with a 2 A charging current while the Clesana C1 is in standby mode. This ensures that the toilet remains operational even if the vehicle battery fails.

The Clesana Power Management without cable can be used purely as a relay to minimize the Clesana C1’s standby power consumption—approximately 10 times lower than without it. Another advantage is that it remains possible to upgrade this version in the future to support operation with a backup battery.
