Pperating principle.
Revolutionarily simple.
Simply revolutionary.
Wherever you want to use the Clesana C1, installation, commissioning and use are always the same – and always equally simple, resource-saving and reliable.
This is how the Clesana C1 works.
All waste is sealed into bags fully automatically and in line with medical hygiene standards, and collected in a space-saving way. The bags are disposed of with residual waste. The Clesana C1 needs neither sanitary additives nor water and, thanks to high-barrier film, is absolutely odour-proof and hygienic. This is ensured by a special thermo-pressure process and a patented sealing mechanism.
Thoroughly thought through. Simply done.
Using a Clesana sealing toilet is so simple that you will hardly notice any difference from the fixed toilet in your home … except, perhaps, that you don’t even need water to feel completely hygienically safe.
1
As soon as the film cassette has been inserted, the Clesana toilet is ready for operation. The system basically works just as you know it from your toilet at home: after number two, close the toilet lid and press the “large flush” button. For number one, add the Clesana super absorber to the bowl if needed, close the lid and select “small flush”.
2
Once you press the appropriate flush button, everything else happens fully automatically. All waste is safely sealed into film bags and moves into the drawer – completely germ-free and odour-free, and entirely without water. The Clesana system then automatically renews the film lining and is ready for the next use.
3
The display of the Clesana system shows you exactly when it is time to empty the bag compartment. Simply pull the drawer beneath the toilet seat out of its holder. You can then conveniently dispose of the bags with residual waste – without any unpleasant contact with the bag’s contents.
Disposing of toilet waste is completely unproblematic with Clesana, too. Whether toilet paper, feminine hygiene products or nappies – the film-bag system seals everything hermetically at the push of a button. The bags are disposed of with residual waste.
Clesana C1 – for good reasons.

The Clesana system creates a real infection barrier and thereby protects health.
-
The Clesana system requires fewer resources and thus relieves the ecosystem.
-
The Clesana system ensures that waste does not end up in the environment and nature, but goes where it can be disposed of without residue.
-
The Clesana system reduces negative impacts on water quality and prevents the acidification of soils.
-
The Clesana system is low-maintenance and can be easily installed anywhere.

Clesana C1 accessories
Excretions and toilet waste are hygienically sealed in high-barrier film. A fresh Clesana C1 high-barrier liner allows an average of 40 uses, while the “PTFE band” (Teflon) used for sealing has a service life of approx. 2,000 cycles. For “number one”, the Clesana super absorber can optionally be used to absorb liquid, or the Clesana liquid insert. Since 2025, high-barrier liners made of biomass-based and recycled plastic have also been available.
