Clesana C1 Accessory: Anti-Slip 2.0

The Clesana C1 sealing toilet was originally developed for use in medical technology – which is why, for hygiene reasons, it is designed to seal the bag after each use.

However, as is often the case, the Clesana community has found creative ways to get the most out of their Clesana experience. Some users, for instance, choose to collect several small toilet visits in one bag to save on liner foil.

While this wasn’t the intended use, there’s certainly no reason not to operate the Clesana C1 this way. However, with this alternative usage, so-called “slippage” may occur – an issue that the Anti-Slip 2.0 accessory is designed to address.

 

Get Your Anti-Slip 2.0

 

Slippage refers to the unintended pulling of the liner foil from the cassette—this can happen when the foil becomes dislodged due to excessive weight (contents) or movement in a vehicle (e.g. while cornering). This may lead to unnecessary liner consumption and cause the remaining capacity shown on the display to be inaccurate. It is not a technical defect, but rather the result of usage that deviates from the product’s original design.

 

  • Excess weight in the bag, for example due to collecting multiple toilet uses.
  • Manually pressing down the liner, similar to how one might compress trash in a bin.
  • Movement while driving – hanging bag chains can pull the liner out during cornering.

 

 

Compact in size, big in impact. It consists of three components: two spring-loaded clips and a reinforced lid spring that effectively prevents slippage.

Important: The Clesana C1 operates as intended even without the Anti-Slip 2.0, and retrofitting is not strictly necessary.
