Software Update for Your Clesana X1

We are constantly working to improve the software for your Clesana X1. Whether it’s fixing minor bugs or enhancing usability based on feedback from our users. With the firmware update, you’ll receive all the optimizations that make your Clesana X1 even better — quickly and at no cost.

What you need for the Clesana X1 software update:

windows10

Computers running Windows 10 or later (older systems are not supported)

Apple computers (systems with Intel processors and systems with Apple Silicon M processors)

Standard USB cable (USB-A or USB-C to USB-C)

How it works:

To see which software version your Clesana X1 is operating with, open the lid and press the “flush” button once. The message “SW” will then appear, followed by the software version currently installed on the device (e.g., 1.2.0).

Connect your computer to the X1. The USB-C port is located behind the service flap on the electronics box in the drawer compartment.

Launch the service tool on your computer. The service tool will automatically connect to the X1 and display the serial number and the currently installed software version.

Note: With Apple computers, you must first plug in the USB cable and then launch the service tool; otherwise, a connection cannot be established.

Please confirm that you have read and agree to the Privacy Policy by checking the box.

To update the software, select “Update Device”.

Enter your name and your (valid) email address. Then select the latest software version and click “Update Device.”

First, press and hold the arrow key on the device, then click “Refresh.”
If you pressed “Refresh” first, the X1 has gone into “sleep mode.” You can restart the toilet by turning the main switch off and then back on.

The software is being installed.

Once the software update is complete, you will be prompted to restart the device. Disconnect the cable from the computer and press the power button.

IMPORTANT: A stable internet connection is required for this.

Software Update Clesana X1 (Windows)

Windows 10 and later. Older systems are not supported.

Software-Update Clesana X1 (Apple until 2021)

This update supports only Apple systems with Intel processors manufactured in 2021 or earlier.

Software-Update Clesana X1 (Apple from 2022)

This update supports only Apple systems with Apple Silicon M processors manufactured in 2022 or later.
